Publication Timeline

  • The call for submissions is open and ongoing, with contributions accepted on a rolling basis. Authors will be informed of the status of their submissions within 14 days of receipt.
  • We eagerly anticipate your insightful contributions and look forward to fostering meaningful dialogue on critical issues at the intersection of law and urban development.

Submission Guidelines

  1. Topics: Select a theme from the provided list or any other legal subject area.
  2. Original Content: Submit original content that has not been published elsewhere. Plagiarism exceeding 15% will result in disqualification.
  3. Word Limit: Maintain a word count between 800 and 1500 words. Ensure your blog is concise, informative, and engaging.
  4. Format: Use a clear and organized structure with appropriate headings, subheadings, and paragraphs.
  5. References and Citations: Reference relevant articles, studies, or research papers to support your arguments. Provide proper citations and references using the preferred Bluebook citation style.
  6. Language and Tone: Use clear and professional language. Maintain an informative, engaging, and relevant tone for the chosen topic.
  7. Review and Selection: All submitted blogs will be reviewed for quality, relevance, and adherence to the guidelines. Only selected blogs will be notified via email and published on the website.
  8. Editorial Rights: We reserve the right to make editorial changes for clarity, grammar, and formatting while maintaining the integrity of your content.
  9. Author Bio: Include a brief author biography (2-3 sentences) at the end of your blog, highlighting your expertise, qualifications, or any relevant credentials beneficial for readers to know.

Enhance your blog by including relevant pictures, videos, screenshots, diagrams, charts, or infographics. Ensure that all images, videos, or graphics are pertinent to your content and properly credited if sourced from external websites.

Formatting Guidelines

  1. Font and Spacing:
    • Font: Times New Roman
    • Font Size: 12
    • Line Spacing: 1.5
  2. Hyperlinks and Endnotes:
    • Authors should hyperlink relevant sources within the text wherever possible.
    • If hyperlinks are not feasible, use consistent endnotes in either the Bluebook citation styles.
    • Keep endnotes to a minimum.
  3. Submission Format:
    • Submissions must be in Google Docs format.
    • The file name should be “Title_LA Blog”.

As a token of appreciation, all selected blog writers shall be awarded with Certificate of Publication and shall also receive a 20% discount on publishing with IJHRLR Law Journal and a 50% discount on publishing a book with Lex Assisto Publications.

How to Submit

All submissions must be made through the Google Form link provided at the end of this post. Submissions made through any other medium will not be accepted.

The final date to submit blog pieces on the specified themes is June 30, 2024.
